Terms and Conditions

Placing an Order

As soon as you have placed an order via our website, you should receive an automated email acknowledging receipt of your order and a separate receipt for your payment. If you do not receive this then either your order has not gone through, you mistyped your email address when you registered or the email has gone into your spam or trash folder.

We do endeavour to keep our website up to date as to stock availability but occasionally as item will be out of stock.   If there are any problems with your order then we will either telephone or email you as soon as possible to allow you either to cancel the order or make changes. We reserve the right to cancel any order in the event of suspected fraud.  No contract for sale exists until we despatch the goods to you/your customer.

Payment

We accept most of the usual credit and debit cards via our secure online payment facility (but not Diner's card or American Express.  Please note that no card payments can be taken over the telephone. You will be transferred to a secure PCI Compliant site for the taking of your payment online; please note that we do not have access to your card details at any time. Please note that your bank statement or credit card bill will have the payee as "Just Dresses Limited".

Taxation

VAT is currently not chargeable on any of our pettiskirts or other clothing items. VAT is charged on non-clothing items and is included in the price you pay at the current rate of 17.5%.

Postage and Packing

For UK deliveries (including BFPO and Channel Island addresses) a flat charge is made to cover postage and packing.  You can select the service you wish to use.

If any item is returned to us undelivered or uncollected you will be responsible for any postage charges arising from its re-sending.

Dropship orders will be posted within 2 working days from receipt of your order directly to your customer.  We will not put any paperwork inside your parcel.  It is up to you to email the packing slip and any returns forms to your customer.

Delivery

Dropship orders will be sent by Royal Mail until 1 November 2010 when the postage options will change.  Wholesale Orders will be sent by DPD Courier within 3 working days of order but PLEASE NOTE THAT THE COURIER/WHOLESALE SERVICE WILL NOT COMMENCE UNTIL 1 NOVEMBER 2010.

For courier deliveries you will receive an email on the morning of delivery advising you of the one hour delivery slot during which your parcel will be delivered. You are able to log into DPD's website and change the delivery date if the delivery slot is not convenient.  For Royal mail deliveries these will be sent by the service you select.

The recipient will be required to sign for all parcels. 

Returning Goods

Products may not be returned unless they are faulty in which case please email us details of the problem before returning the garment.

The address for returns is:

 Just Dresses, Returns Department, 48c St John’s Road, Tunbridge Wells, Kent, TN4 9NY .

For drop ship items returned by your customer, we will put your return address on the back of the parcel and returns will be sent yo you to deal with.  Under no circumstances will we accept any returns of items dropshipped by us unless they are faulty.

Availability

We try to ensure that the goods shown in the online shop are available. However, we cannot guarantee that all the items will be available. If we cannot supply an item we will let you know immediately and let you know when we expect to be able to supply an item giving you the opportunity of cancelling the order or exchanging it for something else.  We will send our dropship customers a weekly email advising them of products which have gone out of stock or come into stock.

Product Descriptions

The products are as described by us. We endeavour to provide accurate descriptions but if you feel that the description is misleading, you are entitled to return the goods to us. Please note that colours cannot always be accurately represented and all computer monitors are set to show colours differently.

Measurements

Measurements shown should be taken as a guide only and there can be wide variations between different manufacturers. If in doubt, please contact us and we can let you have specific measurements or an indication as to the fit of the garment.

Exports

Currently we can only sell and ship:

1. for dropshipping  - to the UK (including Northern Ireland, islands and Channel Islands), BFPO and Europe

2. for wholesale - to the UK (excluding Northern Ireland, Scottish Highlands, islands, Channel Islands), Belgium, France. Monaco, Germany, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Republic of Ireland, Austria and Denmark.  Other EU countries available with prior arrangement.

Computer and Technology

Our systems use cookies to maintain your shopping basket during your time on our website. These may be retained for a day or two after leaving our site in order to recall your basket should you return to our site. Once this period has passed, the cookie will be deleted.

This website also uses performance cookies. These cookies collect information about how visitors use a website, for instance, which pages they visit most often and whether they receive error messages from web pages. None of these cookies collect any information which identifies a visitor. All the information collected is aggregated and therefore anonymous and only used to improve the way in which a website works.

By using this website, you agree that we may place these types of cookie on your device.

Personal Information and Privacy

We do require some personal information from you so that we can manage your order. From time to time we will email you with details of new stock or special offers unless you have indicated that you do not wish to receive these.

We will not use this information for any other purpose or sell this information to any third party.

We are not required by law to register with the Data Protection Registrar.

Jurisdiction

No contract will exist between you and Just Dresses for the sale by it to you of any product unless Just Dresses accepts your order by email confirming that it is dispatching your product.

Any such contract will be deemed to have been concluded in the UK and interpreted, construed and enforced in all respects in accordance with the laws of England and you and Just Dresses irrevocably submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the English Courts.
